Eighteen years ago my sister endured Anorexia Nervosa. During this experience, I became deeply fascinated with our relationship with food and our body. So, I decided to become a Dietitian and specialise in Eating Disorders. I completed my Bachelor of Exercise Science and Nutrition in 2009.

After graduating with a Master’s in Dietetics in 2013 I worked in private practice where I supported people with Eating disorders and disordered eating. I also worked for the Butterfly Foundation, a non-profit organisation, in Melbourne Australia. I presented workshops on body image, self esteems and eating disorders.

It was around this time that I had chronic back pain. I found myself flat on my back on the floor unable to get up. Like you, and many other women I’ve worked with, or who follow me and listen to the podcast, I found myself at the bottom of the ‘black hole’ – weak, stressed and in an unhealthy relationship with my body and training.

I started working with a coach who taught me how to build a strong foundation and train properly. He helped me redefine my relationship with my body and training.

It was during this time that I discovered the idea of coaching – combining training, nutrition and hormones to help women redefine their relationship with themselves, their bodies and training – and immediately knew it was what I wanted to do with my life.

I decided to start Warrior School. I knew two things: I wanted to create a program where women could learn from and coach with me consistently. I craved to teach them all the things they should have been taught in school – about their physiology, hormones, training, how to manage their mind and build powerful relationships – and I wanted it to be the ‘Ivy League school’ you wanted to go to!

Now the School has developed into an incredible community of women who want to become the best and strongest version of themselves. I have helped thousands of women redefine themselves through coaching and training so they can live life on their OWN terms.

I believe that the relationship you have with yourself and your body is the most important relationship you’ll ever have.

My mission has always been simple – teach women how to train and eat properly. I want every woman to know what it feels like to lift a heavy barbell. To move a weight she once couldn’t lift, I want her to have a great love affair with lifting weights. I want her to create the body she loves, so she can live the life she wants!
