Episode Notes
Today’s episode is short ‘n’ sweet. I share with you what training means to me.
Training seeks more. More then ‘working out’, ‘sweating’, ‘burning calories’, ‘getting lean’, ‘losing weight’
Training is exploration
·Training is movement
Training isn’t something you ‘do’; it’s a place you go
Training is a lever to deeply connect to your body
Training shifts to the joy of the process, not outcome
Training is about practicing your way in to it
·Training creates a tribe; it finds the disconnected and connects them
Training is less attached to the ‘what’ and ‘how’ (the A, B and C’s), and is more interested in the ‘why’ (the intent, what A, B and C are comprised of, how they relate)
Training is a way of living, it is your daily practices, your discipline, your internal narrative, what you choose to nourish your body with, how you choose to show up in the world
Training is joyful, playful and fun
The four questions you should ask yourself
What are you training for?
How do you know if it worked?
Where are you going from here?
What did training teach you today?
